  1. You have some interesting hotel choices in this article, but one thing I’d like to point out about staying in Stockholm that we found to be quite the score was getting an apartment.  In fact, we found one through Booking com that was right in Gamlastan that had two bedrooms as well as a kitchen so we could self-cook if we weren’t up for eating out all the time (and we also made our own breakfast).  The only downside was we had to EZ-Park a few blocks away in Riddarholmen and we had to lug our luggage up (several flights of) stairs.  Still, we got to see Vassamuseet, Skansen, Kunglinga Slottet, Drottningholm Palace, and enjoyed walking around the charming Gamlastan and surroundings itself.

    1. Hi Johnny,
Thank you for your feedback. Yes for sure getting an apartment through booking.com or Airbnb can be a great way to stay in Stockholm. It does have it’s pros and cons. If you do a shorter stay a hotel might be a better option, but if you are staying for a longer period of time getting an apartment is a great choice. Glad you got to see all those fun places, which one was your favorite?

      Thanks for stopping by,

  2. What a gorgeous city!  I’ve never been outside North America and odds are I never will be.  But this really brightened my day.  The scenery.  The architecture.  The colors.  Just imagining it.  Just sighing and thinking, “If only…”

And your website is so nicely put together, too.  Makes the experience feel more real.

Beautiful job.  Keep up the good work!

  3. Hi Veronica,

The articles are well-written and easy to understand. A very informative site that will have people returning to again and again.
I could not fault your site. A very impressive website.
    Cheers John
